Isn't she adorable?

Layla came home with us last night. She was rescued from a Shelter and didn't have a home to go to. We are "foster" parents right now, giving her a home, food and love. :) We didn't know anything about her when we picked her up but she immediately found her favorite spot...on my lap. She's housebroken, curious and loves to be right by our side at all times. Layla is mostly Boston Terrier but she has a little bit of something else in her as well. She only weighs about 12 lbs (that's our best guess) and is probably about 1 1/2 years old. We think she will max out at about 18 lbs. She's just precious and we're glad to be her "foster" parents.

Vanity Reorganization

We have this huge vanity area between the master bedroom and our fabulous walk-in closet. We painted it a fabulous nuetral grey - Behr Creek Bend (same as the rest of the room), but really hadn't done anything else to it. I spent last weekend cleaning and reorganizing, since it was starting to become a place that our junk and dirty clothes landed. Now I actually have a place to get ready in the morning that's not in the steam-filled bathroom!

To let you in on a little secret...I've enlisted another wonderful designer to help me tackle our master bedroom (including this vanity). More before-and-after pictures to follow in the coming months! I'm so excited! :)
