I Need Your Help!
I need help figuring out what curtains I should hang in our living room. We have dark bamboo blinds, which I'd like to keep, but I also want curtains. Please help! Leave me a comment with your suggestions. I'd love to get your feedback. And if there's anything else you want to suggest about our living room/dining room, please feel free! :)

Old time pottery has some really neat ones that are simple in style with tabs at the top. Last time they were $10 a panel. Sarah got some plain white ones for her blue living room. I think they had other colors and if you don't like solid, it would be very easy to sew a wide ribbon across the top or bottom to add color. I have a friend that did this and I can get some pictures if you want next time I'm over.
ReplyDeleteSo sad...the Old Time Pottery near our house has closed! John and I went one last time a few weeks ago and were able to snag some fun accessories for our house. They didn't really have any curtains because they had been picked clean already. :( I think I've decided to go to Ikea for the curtains. I'll take pictures once we've made the trip.
ReplyDeleteThat's really sad! Are they all going out of business? I loved that store! They were flat curtains that tied back instead of having lots of creases in them. This is the kind that my friend used. She added a 3" wide black ribbon about a foot up from the bottom for color. They looked really neat.
